Im back, yet again at an Oakland local favorite spot of mine, Boot and Shoe Service. But this time the purpose of my visit (other than to have a great meal) was to contribute a post to bay area blog Say Yes To Hoboken’s Sites and Bites series. As a regular contributor to the blog, I’m really happy to have the opportunity to share places from my home town of Oakland, which I love dearly and will support until my dying day. I wanted to take this opportunity to share some outtakes that didn’t make it on Liz’s post. To find out what makes Boot and Shoe Service worth visiting, check out the full post here.
On this occasion my good friend Kate Ellen (jewelry designor and owner of the Oakland shop Crown Nine) was kind enough to join me and help eat all the goodies! We also had a chance to catch up and chat about our up coming collaboration for A Rarity, which just launched last week. If you haven’t had a moment to check it out yet, you can find more info on my previous blog post, Meet A Maker: Kate Ellen Metals.
